The theft of the semi-trailer or trailer in itself is already associated with a lot of trouble, stress and work. But that’s not the only thing. You lose orders because the trailer or semi-trailer was, after all, part of the logistics planning.
According to calculations by the German Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association (DSLV), a truck and its load are robbed every 20 minutes in Germany. Almost 26,000 cases were listed in 2016. According to the association, this resulted in a loss of 1.3 billion euros.

The SatMOS®.box-enhanced was specially developed for use in heavy-duty vehicles such as trailers, tankers, refrigerated trucks and low-loaders. The robust and waterproof design ensures that the device works reliably even in harsh environments, e.g., when transporting fuel and chemicals. It can operate for up to three months without an external power supply, and is therefore ideal for locating trailers even when they are not connected.
Thanks to multiple interfaces and Bluetooth, the SatMOS®.box-enhanced can be easily connected to both external and wireless accessories.
Enhanced safety for commercial vehicles
SatMOS®.secure is a security platform that enables you to control the trailer with individually programmed control of several sensors in the tractor unit. Especially when transporting valuable goods, simply locating the truck fleet, as can be achieved with the SatMOS®.box, for example, is not enough. The value of the cargo requires additional security measures.
This is where the SatMOS®.secure comes into play, together with a wide range of connection options from the SatSENS family.
The SatMOS®.secure has been specially developed for the transportation of valuable goods and uses the SatMOS® 18 tracking unit, which is used in many certified high-security transport companies and which are often TAPA TSR-1 and BAT-V1 certified – this is the cornerstone and your entry into a special area of transportation.
Safe monitoring of your temperature-sensitive transported goods
The monitoring of temperature-sensitive goods is always a very important and sensitive issue. Refrigerated transportation is rightly regarded as the “supreme discipline” in logistics. An optimum cold chain must be maintained in order to protect the sensitive goods. If this does not happen, the goods will spoil in the worst case.
We have years of experience in this area and offer you our solutions for controlling the room temperature in your semi-trailer, trailer or container.
The SatMOS®.frigo is available with Euroscan printer systems and sensors from ORBKOMM or optionally with our own temperature sensors from the SatSENS 
product family. The option of connecting up to ten independent temperature sensors leaves nothing to be desired for your requirements. If you combine the SatMOS®.frigo with our SatLOCK products, the system fulfills the requirements of a complete safety system that can be used for pharmaceutical transports.
Optimum protection against theft and manipulation of valuables transports

It not only consists of the SatLOCK locking system and the SatMOS® remote monitoring system, but mechanical frame constructions also increase protection against break-ins.
